Recruitment Event at Shorebirds Stadium

On April 12th, some of the top behavioral health students on the lower shore came out to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for an informal meet and greet with area agencies.  It was an opportunity to see where they might fit best as they wrap up their training and get ready to make a difference in our community.  Meanwhile the agencies were able to see who they might be able to bring on board to help offer shore residents the best services possible.  The event was a whole lot more than a typical job fair.  It was a chance to interact in a casual setting and really get to know each other.  These students from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and Salisbury University are finishing Masters level training and will be the front line for the next generation of behavioral health workers.  This is exactly what Healthy Minds For Shore is all about.  Different organizations working as one team to make sure the people on the Lower Shore have the support they need to be their very best.
